This shark themed, write the room activity is a great way to have students moving around the room, hunting for the different cards, reading them and then writing down the answers onto recording sheets. The recording sheets come in numbers 1-10 as well as in 2 different ability levels - plain boxes to write the answers in or boxes with handwriting lines for students to write in. Each image is linked to the theme of shark species and all images can be seen in the preview of this resource. This will be an excellent addition to your ‘Shark Week’ topic and expand your students knowledge while allowing them to move around. You can hide these flashcards anywhere you want to get the students active and moving about. Some example are: ♦ Around the classroom ♦ Outdoor play area ♦ In a tough tray ♦ In a sensory tub etc. This is a great way to keep students motivated and engaged while working on their vocabulary and spelling skills.
